The Tribloos 3 can now be pre-ordered on Steam!
This will include achievements, trading cards and badges/backgrounds. This wasn’t a rush job though, we’ve been planning all of these for a while. Let me show you them…
These are four of the ones we have. There are 9 in total and they’re all just as awesome.
I failed miserably at my first attempt at creating badges. Previously I’d used portraits and cropped them to the right size. Something I thought would work this time until Steam got out it’s big, red rubber “DENIED” stamp out and told me to make them more “items” rather than images.
There are 6 in total. I’m really liking this “coin” style design. I think it works really well as a steam badge.
Finally for today we have the available achievements. So far I’ve added every achievement available in game. However there may be a special hidden one or two by the time the game release:
If anyone has any suggestions for an achievement (even after the initial release) let me know!
Things that won’t be done on release
Okay so there are a few things which I’ve not managed to get sorted yet.
The mac version is having issues with achievements triggering at the moment. Not sure why but until I get to the bottom of that I won’t be releasing the mac version to Steam. (Although I’m hoping I *will* get that sorted before the initial release).
Next up is leaderboards. I was really, really hoping these would be working but it’s just not to be at this point. Again there is a slight, tiny chance these will be working. But I’m having to see if another coder can help me with these as it requires a plugin to BlitzMax via C++ (not my most practised language)
Surprise for German Speakers!
There will be a German version thanks to the efforts of a fantastic fellow dev TimoH! I’m very excited about this 🙂
Other localizations may follow if I can find other great people to help! If you know anyone who would be interested in helping us please drop me a line!
I know that I’ve said it for a while but I really wanted the competitions to fall inline with the releases on Itch.IO and Steam. Due to the administration issues we’ve had this has taken longer than expected. However we’re gearing up to do these. They’ll be to win copies of the game and to win more of the plushies we have up for grabs 🙂
So stay tuned for further news of those, probably next week…
